Gallery 114 is a self-governing community of artists. To insure our freedom from commercial pressures, we depend on our member artists to contribute their time, talent and dues. Every member can expect a featured show approximately yearly. More frequent exhibit opportunities are offered in our South Gallery and in auxiliary spaces. The gallery retains a 20% commission on sales by members (far less than at most commercial galleries). Since the gallery exists to further our artistic careers, we encourage our members to also exhibit in other venues. We are always willing to consider portfolio submissions.
Gallery 114 is committed to recruiting artist members who represent the broad diversity of the greater community of artists. We encourage artists of color to apply for membership.
New Member Application
To apply for membership, please provide the following in Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF (.pdf) format:
Contact information and web address
Brief statement explaining why you want to join our gallery and describing talents, skills and experience you could contribute as a member
Resume/CV outlining professional work, exhibition experience and education
Artist statement
Five to ten jpeg images of recent work-72 dpi, no larger than 800 x 800 pixels
Image list stating title, medium, size and year made for all included imagery

Member Requirements
New members must:
Pay a one-time fee of $150-Agree to terms of gallery operating agreement
Pay monthly dues of $90.00
Serve as host during gallery hours
Participate in gallery committees and contribute talent, skills and experience to gallery operations
