Gallery 114 is pleased to present Is It Done Yet? We turn our gallery over to innovative artists who test boundaries and dive into their sense of creative freedom. The Gallery invites artists to respond to the prompt "Is It Done Yet? Is it even close? Are we old enough? Are we young enough?" Thank you to our participating artists! Stop by and see what wonderful art is on display, review in the slide show below! Our juried and guest-artist exhibits give the gallery an ever-expanding and national scope. Be Our Guest - May 2022
An invitational exhibit. Each of our member artists invited a “guest artist” to be part of this exhibit, so there is a diverse range of wonderful art. Each artist will display three works. Undercurrent - April 2022
Pat Barrett: My paintings evolve from the physical act of mark-making to the formation of visual patches of color and value. These structures become holders for the ideas and emotions that are influencing the developing painting. I don’t use formulaic strategies. So, it’s critical that I remain alert and open when painting. I am looking for those opportunities that appear during the process that help give structure to whatever it is that I am paying attention to on the most intuitive level. These are matters that for me can only be mediated through the act of painting.

p:ear - March 2022
For the first time in two years p:ear youth will unleash a new collection of artworks in partnership with Gallery 114. Additionally p:ear will be joining forces with Outside the Frame for a thrilling collection of work that highlights life in Portland during the global pandemic. This collection will include contemporary pop art, mixed-media formats , print art and photography. All of which will be capped off by an immersive video installation hosted by Outside the Frame and p:ear youth DJs. www.pearmentor.org and www.outsidethe frame.org All profits from sales were donated to p:ear.
