Neck Of the woods

Oct 2019 - Curtis Settino and Jeremy Gregory “Neck of the Woods”
Oct 12 - Concert (Canoofle improv music: 20th anniversary show)
Nov 1 - Art talk (working on show and for McMenamins)

Neck of the Woods came about after Jeremy and Curtis met working together on McMenamins’ new Elks Temple in Tacoma, WA. Working side by side they discovered many connections. Both artists enjoy a moody whimsical style, are animators, have a connection to skateboarding, and enjoy creating worlds and stories! Once they decided to share a show, they started working independently as well as making several trips to each other’s studios for intensives. The show features lots of puppets and diorama-like sets and scenes. Paintings and prints are included throughout showing 2D versions of the 3D elements.

Curtis and Jeremy describe Neck of the Woods as:
Something about growing the seeds of imagination, letting the stories have a physical form, and then exploring their stories through that form... dissecting our own creativity = exploding house... how long do you play with dolls before they turn real...imagination grants them true lives…
