Re-Vision An open call for a one-day juried show of works by local artists working with recycled materials or found objects. All works for sale. Pop-up art show will be held during a recycle event held Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11am to 3pm — rain or shine. Pacific Northwest College of Art Parking Lot. North Park Blocks between Glisan and Hoyt streets
Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Artists must be able to hand deliver and pick up artwork.
Individual artworks can be no larger than 24” on longest side. If 3D, work must be stable when displayed on a flat surface.
Must have been completed in the last 4 years.
The art must be composed of at least 50% recycled or repurposed materials or depict a theme relative to recycling.
Artwork must be original.
You may enter up to 4 artworks at $5.00 each.
All works must be available for sale.
AWARDS Best of Show will receive a monetary award of $100.00. Best of show determined by votes collected at the day of the event. Notification after votes are tallied on day of the event.

ARTWORK CONDITION AND SIZE LIMITATION Hanging work must be wired, ready to install (saw-tooth hangers and clip frames will not be accepted). Weight must not exceed 35 pounds. Gallery 114 will have the final decision regarding proper artwork condition and display location of each piece. Perishable items, or artworks with hazardous components will not be accepted.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Images All entries judged from digital images submitted through email., Up to 4 images may be submitted. Accepted file format - JPEG, JPG. Formatted as longest side = 1920 pixels, 72 dpi File names formatted as: artist first initial_artist last name_title work_01 (i.e. S_Jordan_RecycleThis_01)

POLICIES Insurance: Artwork will be hung under a canopy, with a gallery representative available at all times. Artist are encouraged to arrange locally for insurance on valuable artworks. While care will be exercised in the handling of all work submitted, neither Gallery 114, staff and volunteers, assume liability for loss or damage to artwork. You are required to sign a legal agreement upon dropping off your artwork indicating your understanding.
SALES All works must be for sale. Gallery 114 will retain 35% commission on all sales – with those proceeds being donated to “Tackling Trash” in conjunction with Clean Team. You may also donate your proceeds to this valuable cause if you wish. Find out more here: http://www.pearldistrict.org/
